Her motorcycle jackets and jodhpur pants may be edgy, but Alia’s beauty routine is decidedly clean-cut.

How would you describe your beauty look?

Pretty natural. The craziest thing I do is give myself kohl-lined eyes. I used to be super-goth growing up and would wear a lot of black makeup, but when that phase was over in my teens, I really started embracing the fresh-faced look.

What are some of the products you absolutely can’t live without?

A rich moisturizer! My skin gets really dry year-round. And because I like the clean and natural look, I just follow up with pressed powder for extra coverage. I also can’t live without my straightening iron.

How do you change your beauty look for the evening?

I like to add a berry-coloured blush to highlight my cheekbones and finish off with a plum gloss on my lips.

Who’s your beauty inspiration?

My mom. Her beauty is influenced by the Middle Eastern aesthetic, with an emphasis on eyes lined with kohl — I try to recreate that.

How does your work impact your beauty routine?

Because I’m a workaholic and always stay at the studio, I have minimal interaction with people, so I just put on some moisturizer. But if I have meetings, I use a concealer to cover up my dark under-eye circles.
