Dining in the Dark @ O Noir

Dining in the Dark @ O Noir

If you've never been to a restaurant where you eat in complete darkness, you really should give it a try. Recently we visited Toronto restaurant O Noir,  where you get to eat your three course meal in darkness. We highly recommend going out and trying this. Its a great experience. All of the waiters are visually impaired and are helpful in guiding you through the meal, and don't worry if you can't find your plate, spill your drink or you put your knife in your mouth by accident, it's a pretty common problem in the dark. Not only is it eyeopening to experience how difficult it would be to be completely blind, but it is also a lot of fun, especially if you go with a group of friends.

There is also a fashion show being held there on March 4th. The event is called 'Bright Night - Dining & Fashion in the Dark'. It's a fundraiser for the Canadian National Institute for the Blind. Some Toronto designers are showcasing pieces, both in the dark and in the light.  It should be a great event, so pencil it in on your calendar for sure.

he designer brother-and-sister duo are based in Toronto, not Vancouver, though they have called both cities home. They are of South Asian ancestry via Africa, having grown up tied-at-the-hip all over the world, from Los Angeles to Kinshasa, and even Almaty, Kazakhstan. Indeed, the only time they have lived apart pass4sure E20-340 was in university, but still only 5 hours away from each other in Toronto and Montreal. That’s a mouthful of cities to have lived in for a couple of thirtysomethings. Jamil and Alia pass4sure 642-515 are symbiotic sponges of the cities they live in, soaking in inspiration from their surroundings and feeding off of each other, and reflecting the cultural diversity of Toronto. In the suburban neighbourhood of North York, for pass4sure 642-983 example, Jamil and Alia found inspiration from the local Hasidim and their characteristic black attire, with a slim and relaxed silhouette that is their signature.pass4sure 1Y0-A09
